Buffalo Branch – WOW!

I just received a copy of the flyer for the "Tech Savvy" conference coming up in March, sponsored by the Buffalo Branch. What an ambitious undertaking! On Saturday, March 17 on the SUNY Buffalo North Campus, over 200 girls in grades 6-9 will converge to learn about technology and how it might be part of their futures. From "analysis" to "zoo" - twenty different workshops (presented by professionals in those fields) will cover a plethora of topics.

And, if that weren't enough - they will also be sponsoring the tenth annual "Sister to Sister" conference two weeks later - March 31, on the Buffalo State College campus. Teenage girls will come together to discuss their differences and commonalities.

An exciting month for girls in Western New York!

This is, of course, in addition to the annual International Women's Day celebration on March 8.

Contact a local branch to see what's going on in YOUR New York area!
